Okazaki’s Famous Elbow Method

Exclusively at the Napa Valley School of Massage.

History of Okazaki’s Famous Elbow Method.

Professor Henry S. Okazaki was born in Japan in 1890. At 16 years of age he and his family moved to Hawaii seeking a better life. Shortly after his arrival in Hawaii, he became seriously ill. Okazaki was a determined young man and refused to give up. He began to train in jiu jitsu “in defiance of death”. With his training in the martial arts Okazaki developed “an iron strong body” and was eventually cured of his illness. It was during this same time that he learned how to massage and began to formulate his “Famous Elbow Method”. So Professor Okazaki became both a jiu jitsu teacher and an expert massage therapist. In 1930 he opened his jiu jitsu school and the Nikko Sanatorium of Restoration Massage in Honolulu. His fame spread throughout Hawaii and around the world. Hollywood performers such as Shirley Temple, George Burns and world class athletes such as Olympian Johnny Weissmuller and even U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt received massage from Professor Okazaki. Now you too can enjoy Okazaki’s Famous Elbow Method offered exclusively at the Napa Valley School of Massage.
